NASA to Make Second Attempt at Debut Moon Rocket Launch

NASA aims to make a second attempt to launch its giant next-generation moon rocket, five days after pair of technical issues foiled the initial try at getting spacecraft off the ground for the first time. The Artemis I lunar mission will launch an uncrewed astronaut capsule on a six-week test flight around the moon and back.

The Artemis 1 mission is scheduled to launch on Sep. 3, at 2:17 p.m. ET. NTD will Livestream the coverage from 12:15 p.m. ET.
